Website Audit
What's your
website?

Before you run it
One page.
Three layers deep.
A website is not one thing. We open yours in a real browser and read it in layers, the way a search engine does. Scroll, and watch a page come apart.
What it checks
Read like
a search engine.
Your page is opened in a real browser and read once its scripts have finished. What comes back is what a visitor and a search engine get, not what the code says should be there.
- Getting there. Whether the address answers, over a secure connection, and how long it takes.
- What Google is given. The title, the description and the headings a search result is built from.
- How your details are described. The structured data that tells a machine what the business is.
- Being found nearby. The local details that decide whether you turn up in your own area.
- Turning a visitor into an enquiry. The form, the email address, the ways to make contact.
- Images. Their size, their loading hints, and the text that describes them.
- Links that go nowhere. Every link on the page, followed.
- The files a crawler looks for. robots.txt, your sitemap, llms.txt.
- When a page does not exist. What your site does with an address that is wrong.
- Security headers your server sends. The ones a browser acts on.
- Email sent from your domain. The records that decide whether your email arrives.
Anything that cannot be checked is reported as not checked. Nothing is estimated, and nothing is filled in with a likely answer.
